The Asian Cafe is an independent, owner-operated restaurant, featuring the finest in Japanese cuisine. Specializing in beautifully displayed sushi, sashimi and hibachi, the Cafe offers fresh, made-to-order menu items available for dine-in or take-out. About one half the menu consists of grilled and cooked items such as hibachi grilled beef, chicken and seafood and one half the menu features sushi, sashimi and chirashi. Sushi, sashimi and chirashi are served raw with rice and sauces, while the hibachi items are served with soup, rice and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available from both the sushi bar and hibachi grill. Several Chinese entrees round out the menu. Seafood is delivered twice a week from a sushi-quality supplier in Maryland. In addition, the Asian Cafe is a full service restaurant offering wine and beer on premises and featuring several uniquely Asian desserts.
An experienced staff awaits your visit. Owners Jim and his wife Ling have many years of experience in food establishments in Maryland and Culpeper, Virginia .
The Asian Cafe offers a pleasant dining atmosphere. Booths and tables feature dark woods with hiragana character printed upholstery and the Sushi Bar is decorated in Japanese style.
The Asian Cafe is conveniently located at #103 Jefferson Center, 265 Turkey Sag Trail near the main entrance to Lake Monticello in Palmyra and proudly serves all of Fluvanna County.
Open 6 days a week (closed on Monday), the Cafe serves both lunch and dinner and kindly accepts Master Card, Visa and Discover. Closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Walk-ins are welcome; reservations for large groups are appreciated.
